Using the appropriate Grits
240/400
The roughest of the Grits, 240 and 400 Grit are your 'heavy-lifting' grits, used to rough-in shapes or move the most amount of material in the shortest period of time.
600/800
These Grits are your shape refining grits as well as the blocks you reach for when sanding your primer-filler coat ready for paint.
1000/1200
Represent your 'pre-polishing' grits where you would begin the surface polishing process.
